Why we created a 13 Weeks Planner?
One year ago, in January 2024, I quit my corporate job. Honestly, it was my dream job. And I couldn’t imagine having to leave it. I did anyway, because at some point, I forgot the point of growing for me. At that time, my definition of growth was increasing the revenue of the company.
"I completely forgot the fun of it, the curiosity of trying something new, and it felt like I’d completely lost myself."
For someone so successful in her twenties, I felt like I lost everything and was stripped naked when I left my job.
Though the process was painful, it gave me the chance to reconnect with myself, and I thought to myself, how do I create an impact to this world? How can I do something I truly enjoy and to have fun with it. I always enjoyed writing and planning, and I did a lot of planning back then in my previous job, scaling the business from 0-1, 1-10. I did my fair share of courses, and I thought, instead of just helping businesses to scale and plan for impact, how can I do that for individuals?
"Im sure we all have something we’d love to do, to try, to experiment, but perhaps don’t know where to start."
So I re-designed a 13-week framework that helps individuals reflect on their vision and create a concrete action plan that brings them closer to where they want to be.
Why 13 weeks?
It takes 21 days to create a habit, and it takes 90 days to create a lifestyle. Most businesses plan in quarterly cycles. 13 weeks are specifically designed to fit the 90-day lifestyle transformation, while giving additional time needed for an individual to reflect and process the shift.
Focus Without Overwhelm ✅
13 weeks = time to make progress ❌ Not too short to rush, not too long to drift
Built for Momentum ⏳
A quarter keeps urgency high 🔁 Encourages weekly action & reflection
Aligns with Reality 🗓
Enough time to see impactful change 🔍 Allows consistent evaluation, check-ins, and alignment
Note: Annual cycles risk losing relevance; monthly is too short to see change.
Human Motivation 🧠
Our brains like short-term wins 🚀 A quarter feels achievable—and exciting
Why is it called Im Hero?
It’s called Im Hero because throughout one year of planning the journal, I felt like it was something I can reach out to every time I felt overwhelmed or scattered.
Like a friend that grounds us or is always there for us, I want our customers to feel like they got this—and that they have themselves.
The planner is a tool that leads to grounded-ness and openness with oneself. The daily pages are intentionally designed to reflect how one feels, to connect individually, and to encourage one to open up with themselves.
My Wish and Vision for Im Hero
I have always wanted to grow a community of dreamers, doers, and challengers. I love being curious and surrounded by curious people. I love trying new things. And I love being able to share and create. I hope to create a space for people to do exactly that.
I also hope to create a children’s version of Im Hero one day, inspired by the close-knit friendships I’ve had—supporting each other’s growth. I hope children can grow into kind future leaders who can make impactful and compassionate changes to themselves and to the world.
I envision Im Hero as a lifestyle brand that promotes intentionality every step of the way, and always challenges the status quo.
If you’ve ever felt a little lost, a little too ambitious for your own good, or just itching to do something real—you’re not alone. Im Hero is my way of figuring it out, one page at a time: Check it out here :)
